As a German public corporation, the client relied on cloud technology for its specialist self-government tasks. Although advanced compared to other public sector institutions, it was struggling to understand and evaluate the results delivered by the cloud managed services and consulting agency. To bridge this gap and improve the overall quality of the project, the client was looking for an independent third party who would be able to challenge the agency's work, review and approve the deliverables and identify additional areas for improvement.
By involving Alice&Bob.Company as a third party in their ongoing cloud migration project, the client experienced a noticeable increase in the overall quality of the project. The partnership uncovered specific security issues that were carefully tracked and remediated through the implementation of DevSecOps and security automation procedures. However, security was only one aspect of A&B's holistic consulting approach; based on AWS' Well-Architected Framework, the client achieved significant improvements in operational excellence, reliability, performance efficiency and cost optimization throughout the cloud migration.
